A star of popular Channel 4 TV series The Secret Millionaire is the latest high profile speaker to have confirmed for Sheffield’s largest annual business summit.
Yorkshire business people can hear how Kavita Oberoi went from first class graduate to owner of one of the UK’s most successful healthcare companies for just £35 thanks to a recession busting early bird offer from Sheffield Chamber of Commerce.
Under the offer, delegates who book for Sheffield Chamber’s ‘RE:Inventing Business – The International Business and Economy Summit’ before May 15 can attend for £35 (members) or £45 (non-members).
Kavita is one of the nation’s most successful female entrepreneurs. She is the founder and managing director of an extremely successful IT and business healthcare consultancy, Oberoi Consulting, which she started from scratch in 2001. She came to receive wider public attention in August 2008 when she appeared on Channel 4's hit show The Secret Millionaire.
Other speakers confirmed for the summit at Sheffield City Hall on Thursday June 18 include British Bankers Association Chief Executive Angela Knight CBE, and David Frost, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, while Greg Clark will return as conference facilitator.
Re:Inventing Business is being delivered in partnership with Yorkshire Forward and in the afternoon will feature, for the first time, interactive workshops relating to a broad range of subjects including finance, enterprise, international trade and city development.
