National Business Awards
Doncaster Chamber is proud to announce that they have been chosen as finalists in two categories at the National Business Awards North of England & Northern Ireland Regional Programme 2009, sponsored by Orange. The categories are ‘Employer of the Year Award’ and ‘Health, Work & Wellbeing Award for Small Business’
The National Business Awards are open to all businesses throughout the UK and recognise success, innovation and ethics.
The Chamber also congratulates Chris Harrison, of Tech Support Holdings UK Ltd, who is a regional finalist for the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year Award’.
Shelley Houlbrook, Head of Membership at Doncaster Chamber, said: “I’m delighted that we’re finalists, it’s great to be recognised for all the hard-work that is done to make the Chamber a positive place to work. We believe that a healthy and fulfilled workforce can provide a better service to our members and this year we are reaping the rewards of investing in our staff, with the results of our staff opinion survey being very positive.
It’s also rewarding to see Doncaster Chamber member, Chris Harrison, be chosen as a finalist too. Chris won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the 2008 Doncaster Chamber Business Awards – a testament to his entrepreneurial approach and incredible drive for success.
The winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on Thursday 9th July 2009.
