Innovation Awards
Does your business have a great innovation story to tell? You could win £3,000.
It’s never been more important to ensure that your business always remains competitive by improving your processes, products and services. The third annual Innovator awards, established by Yorkshire Forward in 2008 and held in association with Yorkshire Innovation and Business Link Yorkshire, use real examples to demonstrate the benefits of developing new ideas, technologies and ways of working.
When’s the entry deadline?
Applications must be in by no later than 5pm on Wednesday 2 December, 2009—so you’ve got plenty of time to prepare your entry.
When will the awards be held?
2010’s awards will be presented at a glittering ceremony at Leeds City Museum on Wednesday 3 March, 2010.
What are the prizes?
Category winners will each take away £3,000 to spend on further innovation and, of course, there will be widespread publicity for your business.
What are the categories?
Young Innovative Business Award – for businesses which have been trading for less than three years and have demonstrated creativity and entrepreneurial flair in the launch and early growth of a business based on innovative products, processes or services
Innovation in Action Award – for businesses which have achieved significant commercial success with an innovative new product, process or service developed in Yorkshire and Humber
Partners in Innovation Award – for businesses which have collaborated with and used the sources and knowledge of the region’s research community on a defined innovative project
Sustainability Innovation Award – for businesses which have made outstanding advances in environmental sustainability through the development or marketing of innovative products, processes and services, or through the innovative management of natural manufactured and human resources.
