Chamber Chief Moving On

Doncaster Chamber has announced that its Chief Executive, Steve Shore will be leaving the organisation at the end of the year. Chamber President, Nigel Brewster stated “Steve has been with the organisation for two years and has made a huge difference to our operations. I would like to personally thank him for his efforts and achievements and offer the best wishes of the entire organisation for the future.”
 

During Steve’s tenure, Doncaster Chamber has increased its membership by 23% and has completely revised its policies and procedures which has led to a reaccredidation of the Investor in People standard and reaccredidation under the Customer First scheme.
 
Additionally, Doncaster Chamber won the Northern England and Northern Ireland Employer of the Year Award in the National Business Awards in September 2009.
