Straight talking business woman, sales expert and motivational speaker, Ruth Badger will be chairing a working lunch in Doncaster to give insight and expert advice on how you can drive growth in times of economic uncertainty.
The event entitled ‘Making it Happen - building positive growth in a recession’ is being run under the auspices of Flourish an organisation established just over a year ago, by local business woman Carey Towers. Flourish has the mission of Inspiring, Empowering and Enriching the Lives of Women. “When you come across a woman of Ruth’s calibre you can’t just keep her for the women in business in our community. Ruth has something to offer all business people in these difficult times”, said Carey who went on to say “Since Badger or Bust and The Apprentice, Ruth has gone on to become a well renowned business consultant and motivational business speaker, from getting to know her I know she will certainly make an impact and be a source of inspiration and empowerment to all the business people who attend”.
Ruth is famous for her no nonsense approach to business. As a candidate on The Apprentice she was the top performer, outselling all her competitors and consistently demonstrating her business acumen and ability which subsequently took her on to front her own business trouble shooting TV show ‘Badger or Bust’. She now heads up two highly acclaimed consultancies The Ruth Badger Consultancy Ltd and The Ruth Badger Academy which delivers highly relevant and practical training solutions to increase sales.
‘Making it Happen’ is taking place on Thursday 20th October 2011 in the Premier Suite at Doncaster Racecourse and Exhibition Centre from 12.00 noon where delegates will be able to network and get to know each other over a working lunch. Ruth will be speaking at approximately 1.30 and then responding to delegates’ questions. Finally a period of formal table networking will take place. Delegates will also receive an extra bonus courtesy of Doncaster Racecourse of a free day’s racing on either Friday or Saturday following the event.
“Even though it seems a long way off until October tickets are already selling well, showing there is a real demand for high quality sales training in the area from top professionals” said Flourish girl Tracy Bowler, MD of Inclusive HR Solutions who herself is an advocate of Sales Training and Personal Development for businesses to sell their way out of recession. “I was highly delighted when I heard Ruth was coming as I know Doncaster businesses can really benefit from Ruth’s remarkable experience and ability, I am really looking forward to it” concluded Tracy.
