£10,000 Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2010

Now open for entries - deadline 5pm on 6th September 2010!

Entrants must be aged 16-30 and have been running their own business for more than 3 months but less than 18 months, this annual competition will see a young entrepreneur walk away with a £10,000 cash injection plus support from top PR agency Blue Rubicon at the Shell LiveWIRE LIVE! award final taking place in London on 13th October 2010.

The benefits of entering include:

  - A chance to reach the Shell LiveWIRE 'Hot 40' shortlist. The shortlist will be published on the Shell LiveWIRE website, offering a great profile for 40 businesses from around the UK.

 - A chance to receive quality feedback on your business. 36 regional judges from around the country will judge the regional stage, offering a chance for those shortlisted businesses to receive feedback from business experts. In addition to this, the final will be judged by Duncan Bannatyne, Tim Campbell and Simon Dolan and other esteemed business leaders. (full judging process here)

 - A chance to be one of our 8 regional winners (from 6 regions). The regional winners will receive excellent regional coverage and an all expenses paid trip to London for the final.

 - A chance to pitch your business. All finalists will pitch to an audience of investors, advisors and other movers and shakers in the world of enterprise.

 - Last year's winner Robert Matthams (Shiply.com) benefited from appearing in national newspapers as well as on The Working Lunch and BBC Radio 5 Live, coverage that reached an audience of over 7 million people.

The overall winner will then be announced at our Shell LiveWIRE LIVE! event in London on 13th October where a host of young entrepreneurs, movers and shakers will come together for a series of top business speakers, workshops and networking sessions throughout the day and early evening.
