At Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust (DCLT) we deliver a diverse range of health, fitness, leisure and entertainment facilities and activities across 15 venues – with the aim of achieving a healthier community.
As a registered charity we’re 100 per cent committed to achieving that aim, and we continually strive to provide our customers with the very best services we can.
Since we were established in 2004 we’ve grown considerably, from a one-site Trust to managing 15 venues and employing 600 staff. A feat we’re incredibly proud of.
We have both a trading and a training arm too, the latter of which provides training in areas such as leisure, health, fitness, outdoor activities and corporate hospitality.
Our portfolio includes Adwick Leisure Complex, Armthorpe Leisure Centre, Askern Leisure Centre and Balby Community Sports Village, Crookhill Park Golf Course, Dearne Valley Leisure Centre and the Balby and Stadium Fitness Villages.
We also manage the Dome, The Leopard, Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre, Rossington Community Swimming Pool and Sports Village, as well as Thorne Leisure Centre.
However, like any successful organisation, we need to keep evolving. That’s why we have a programme of re-investing in our venues, to deliver new and exciting facilities and services for our customers. Work to our Adwick centre saw the introduction of an eight lane bowling alley, American diner and a state-of-the-art Choose Fitness Gym, which has resulted in a huge increase in footfall at Adwick Leisure Complex.
Our reinvestment programme will continue into 2018 as we keep on improving our venues, making sure our customers – the people who live and work in Doncaster – get the quality they deserve.
