Chamber Policy Council

The Chamber runs an overarching Policy Council in addition to the Focus groups to address issues affecting all sectors and businesses in Doncaster.  The Chamber Policy Council is made up of the elected Chairs and Vice Chairs of all the Chamber’s Focus Groups and is therefore a democratic group accountable to the wider membership; because of this it is a trusted voice locally and influential on consultations on issues such as planning, business rates, DMBC budgeting, and so forth.  In addition to including the Chairs and Vice Chairs of the Chamber’s Focus Groups the Policy council also includes co-opted representatives from key partner organisations including Doncaster College, DMBC, NHS Doncaster, Business Link and Doncaster CVS to ensure a fully joined approach to economic development in the Borough.
