Doncaster Chamber

Additional Entry Criteria

1.    All businesses with an address in Doncaster, businesses employing 10+ Doncaster residents and all Doncaster Chamber Members are eligible to enter Doncaster Business Awards.

2.    Entries are treated in confidence.

3.    All entries must be submitted through the application process on the Doncaster Chamber website. 

4.    Winners of 2010 award categories are not permitted to enter the same award category for 2011.

5.    Supporting information is not permitted unless it forms part of the entry document, e.g. testimonials. A maximum of 5 tables, graphs or photos may be included within the entry form. Please be aware that any website links used within your entry will not be activated by the judges.

6.    Please note the maximum word count (excluding tables, graphs and photos ) for any entry is 2500 words.  This word count limit does NOT include the questions.  The maximum file size for any entry is 500KB.  If your entry exceeds this word count or file size it will be disqualified by the judges.

7.    Entry to more than one category is allowed.

8.    Entrants may be requested to supply customer details to enable Doncaster Chamber to gather testimonials.  Judges reserve the right to visit these customers if applicable to the Award category.

9.    Entries will be judged by the Award sponsor (primary judge) alongside a Doncaster Chamber representative (secondary judge).  

10.    Judges reserve the right to seek expert advice and discuss entries, if required.

11.    Award Winners will be announced at Doncaster Business Awards on the 15th December 2011.

12.    Submission feedback will be provided to all entrants in January 2012.

13.    Entrants may be asked for additional information, including evidence of financial information, at the judging stage.

14.    Applications must be submitted by a person authorised to enter their organisation into the awards programme.

15.    Entries should be in English and produced using a word processor. All entries must be checked for spelling and grammar.

16.    Incomplete entries will not be judged.

17.    All entries will be acknowledged on receipt. Entry forms will become the property     of Doncaster Chamber and entries will not be returned.

18.    Proof of sending an entry is not proof of receipt by Doncaster Chamber.

19.    Winning entries will be publicised. Applicants are responsible for making appropriate arrangements to protect any intellectual property associated with their application. Winners may be requested to participate in post-event publicity.

20.    The organisers reserve the right to withdraw an award from any applicant supplying false information within their entry. Judges reserve the right to audit any information supplied.

21.    The closing date for entries is 30th September 2011.

22.    The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

23.    By registering and completing an entry for the awards you agree to these terms and conditions.

Please ensure that you answer all questions.  Any entries not adhering to these rules will be eliminated.
