Our first plaudit was when Strata secured Investor in People status in October 2007 following a single formative assessment, without recourse to any changes whatsoever to our systems or way of working. As you can imagine I was delighted to hear this news and the Doncaster Chamber award has reinforced my commitment to raising the bar even higher.
The construction industry is experiencing troubled times, as is the rest of the UK economy, and whilst Strata continues to trade very successfully, I am all too aware of the concerns raised when our people go home on a night and turn on the TV or read their newspaper. Consequently, the excellent communications created within the company have been used to ensure that nobody needs to be unnecessarily disheartened and that morale is maintained to focus everybody's attention on keeping our customary high levels of customer satisfaction."
