After winning the Entrepreneur of the Year Award Chris Harrison said: "Despite the positive attitude, winning the award was an amazing surprise and is another milestone in my life's ambition which only serves to drive me more. Looking back at my journey I hope the award will serve to drive people to buy into their own dreams and inspire everyone, regardless of their situation, to believe in themselves. Its amazing what you can do with some self belief, hard work and an endless supply of coffee and Haribo! "
The exposure the award has created is fantastic. It has allowed me to make some positive connections and opened some exciting opportunities with complementary companies. It has also attracted some larger clients and business ventures making for a hectic but amazing start to the New Year. Besides the extra revenue, the award has realised another goal for me, working closely with schools and other businesses has allowed me to give something back to the community delivering seminars and training that they organise, showing people my journey and inspire others regionally.
