About Us
Doncaster Chamber is a business led membership body, representing almost 20% of registered businesses within the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster, approximately 80% of the employed people of the Borough and approximately 43,000 employees.
The Chamber currently holds the privileged position of being the only independent business owned and business led organisation that exists to improve business. This is a position held for over 65 years since the Chamber was created by local businesses, to add value and contribute to their success and the success of the Borough.
This uniqueness should not only be remembered, it should be promoted and exploited, for in contrast with many organisations, the Chamber remains a demand led organisation whose prime objective is the survival, growth and expansion of member businesses.
The objectives of Chamber Members remain unchanged and growth in membership is the best demonstration of the Chamber’s success in satisfying its member’s aspirations.
